Office & Payroll Administrator

Our Office and Payroll Administrator Program combines a well-rounded curriculum, specialized instruction and a field-related practicum to prepare you for a career path in both the public and private sectors as a full-charge bookkeeper, computerized accounting clerk, computerized payroll clerk, accounting assistant and more. Our curriculum is designed to help you successfully complete the Canadian Payroll Association’s Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certification and includes the 250-hour work placement required to receive your diploma.

You’ll follow courses in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Accounting I, Payroll Fundamentals I & II and Sage 50, which are combined with essential training in payroll compliance legislation, interpersonal workplace skills, business communications and customer service. Your hands-on training in office management practices and software will give you the skills you need to effectively adapt to and manage the duties and challenges that you’ll encounter. A work placement gives you the opportunity to put your new skills into practice, giving you the confidence, insight and experience you need to succeed in the future.
